Team Communication:
Group emails will be our primary form of communication. We will send out a Monday email with what is coming up for the week. If you have not been receiving emails thus far or if you change your contact information, please forward the new in formation to our general email edisonchargerssoftball@gmail.com so that your correct info is added to the contact list.
It is important that players and parents be checking their email and the website regularly through out the season for last minute updates and reminders. Texts will be sent with any last minute time changes due to weather, etc. For game results and general team information please visit www.edisonchargersoftball.com
Players MUST COMMUNICATE with their respective coaches via text or email if they are missing any part of a practice or game day! Emergencies and commitment conflicts are expected to crop up, but it is very important that player’s value/attend practice time as we are limited in what we can go over if the team does not show up as a whole. Detailed information on communication guidelines for coaches and the Edison athletics department can be found in your Parent/Coaches communications Guide.
Commitment to the Team/Expectations of Players:
Softball is an athletics class and a grade is assigned based on attendance and conduct. Players are expected to show teammates, coaches, officials, parents, fans, and opponents respect at all times. Athletes are expected to represent the softball program with honor by meeting their academic requirements and conducting themselves properly while on campus and off. Equal expectation of assistance infield/equipment maintenance and set up/clean up is placed upon players of all ages, grades and team levels.
2022 Edison Chargers Softball Summer Camp
August 9-11, 2022
The 2022 summer softball camp is a 3-day event for all incoming and returning players. The camp is a great opportunity for players to showcase their abilities, refresh skills, and train with our experienced coaching staff Mandee Farish and Kylee Lahners. This camp is highly recommended for all players who want to play in the high school softball season.
Date: August 9 - 11, 2022 from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm
Location: Edison High School Varsity Softball Field
Cost: $150 (includes shirt/visor) / $125 for returning players (no shirt/visor)
Registration Deadline: Walk-ins welcome but may not receive shirt/visor as we order based on registration.

Physicals and Participation Forms
All student-athletes are required to have a physical exam before camp or competing in high school sports. Edison will have physicals available on campus on (Date and Time TBD). Physical forms are available at Edison website or in the Administration office. All completed forms required need to be turned in on the first day of camp to Coach Mandee. The following are the required forms: (1) copy of completed physical; and (2) summer camp emergency form. Any questions, please email edisonchargerssoftball@gmail.com.
